Abstract

This article chronicles the Yukon Women’s Coalition’s participation in the Review of Yukon’s Police Force 2010. Their advocacy for gender and racial justice guided the Review’s recommendations for improving relations between police, women’s organizations, and Indigenous and northern communities, and generated safety protocol agreements between feminist organizations and the RCMP.
