Anna Veprinska holds a Ph.D. in English from York University. She wrote her doctoral dissertation on poetry after the Holocaust, the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and Hurricane Katrina. She has published a book of poems as well as articles in Contemporary Literature and The Bristol Journal of English Studies.
