Melinda Vandenbeld-Giles, University of Toronto

Melinda Vandenbeld Giles is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Toronto and lecturer in Social Anthropology. Her research involves working with mothers who are living with their children in Toronto motel rooms. She has an edited collection titled Mothering in the Age of Neoliberalism published in 2014. Her novel, Clara Awake, was published by Inanna Publications in 2017.
