Sonia Di Placido is a published poet, writer, and performer. She is currently part of the MFA Program in Creative Writing at University of British Columbia. Sonia is a member of the League of Canadian Poets and Canadian Women in the Literary Arts. Published works such as chapbooks, poetry, essays, book reviews, and interviews can be found in various journals. Her first book of poetry, Exaltation in Cadmium Red, was published in 2012. Her second full-length book of poetry is forthcoming in 2018.
